Import your CV into your Cinode profile
Import a CV to automatically fill in your profile, then review and improve the content manually or with AI π€β¨
Your Cinode profile is the foundation for all your professional information. Importing a CV is the fastest way to populate your profile and gives you a structured starting point that you can refine afterwards.
Before you import β οΈ
Before watching the video or uploading your CV, make sure that:
Your profile is empty, or only contains skills.
This applies regardless of the CV language.
A CV can only be imported in one language.
If your profile already contains other information, the import option will not be available.
Tips before importing your CV π‘
Before importing a CV, itβs useful to understand how Cinode interprets the content and creates profile sections.
CVs with a simple, linear structure are generally imported more accurately than CVs with complex layouts.
If your CV contains a separate Employers section, each employer will be imported as a separate project or assignment. This is often not desirable, which is why employer-only lists are commonly removed before import.
CVs with side columns or two-column layouts may result in text being merged or interpreted incorrectly.
When role titles and dates appear in the same column, the import usually works better. The following order is commonly interpreted as intended:
βRole title β Date β Company β DescriptionIf the company name appears first, the content may be imported into the Presentation section instead of Projects and assignments.
Tip
LinkedIn profiles exported as a PDF are usually well structured and often work very well when imported into Cinode.
