Create a new CV based on your profile and prepare it for customisation 📄

Once your profile is available in Cinode, you can create one or more CVs. A CV is created from your profile data and is typically used as a starting point before being customised for a specific customer, request, or opportunity.

Before you start To create a CV, you first need a profile in Cinode. If you haven’t added your profile yet, start by importing your CV: If you’re planning to create a CV in another language, such as Swedish, ensure you set up a profile variant in the desired language. Translate all sections, like titles and summaries, to maintain consistency.

🎥 Watch the video below to see how to create a CV step by step.

Create a new CV

To create a CV:

Go to Home → CV
Open the CV tab.
Click the plus (+) button.

Choose:

  • A title

  • A language

  • A template

    • When selecting a language, ensure it matches the profile variant prepared earlier to avoid inconsistencies in the CV content.

You can choose to generate a first draft with AI. This creates an initial version of the CV content based on your profile, which you can review and adjust later.

Click Save to create the CV. Before saving, verify that the selected template and language settings align with the profile variant to ensure accurate content generation.

What happens when a CV is created

When a CV is created:

  • Content is taken from your profile

  • All CV sections are included by default

  • The layout follows the selected template

After creation, the CV can be updated and customised without changing your profile data.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

  • CV Reverting to English: Check that the "Swedish" profile variant is active and fully translated. Ensure the correct template was selected.

  • Permissions Limitations: Confirm you have editing rights to access and generate CVs for other consultants.

Next step - customize your CV

After creating a CV, you usually customise it for a specific request.
