Import your CV into your Cinode profile

Import a CV to automatically fill in your profile, then review and improve the content manually or with AI πŸ€–βœ¨

Your Cinode profile is the foundation for all your professional information. Importing a CV is the fastest way to populate your profile and gives you a structured starting point that you can refine afterwards.

Before you import ⚠️

Before watching the video or uploading your CV, make sure that:

Your profile is empty, or only contains skills.
This applies regardless of the CV language.
A CV can only be imported in one language.

If your profile already contains other information, the import option will not be available.

Make sure your CV can be read correctly βœ…

Cinode reads the structure of your CV when importing it. A simple layout gives the best result.

Before uploading your CV:
Remove employer lists if they appear outside project descriptions.
Avoid side columns or two-column layouts.
Use a simple, linear structure.

Write role titles and dates in the same column in this order:
Role title β†’ Date β†’ Company β†’ Description

If the company name appears first, the content may be imported into the presentation section instead of projects.

Watch the video: import your CV and complete your profile πŸŽ₯

The video below shows how to import your CV into Cinode and how to review and complete your profile after the import.

Import your CV πŸ“€

Go to Home β†’ Profile and click the green button on the right to import your CV into your profile.
Upload your CV in PDF or Word format and wait for the import to complete.

Review and improve your profile βœοΈπŸ€–

After the import, go through each section of your profile.

Click the pen icon to edit content. You can:
Edit text and dates manually.
Add missing information.

While editing, you can also use Cinode’s AI tools:

Improve rewrites and enhances your text.
Translate creates versions in other languages 🌍
Characters adjusts length and tone.

Manual editing and AI work together to help you quickly turn imported content into clear, professional, and client-ready information.

When saving changes:
Save updates only the current CV.
Save to many… updates multiple CVs and/or the profile.

If you only have one CV, the profile and CV mirror each other and you use a single Save button.
If you have multiple CVs, you can choose which CVs to update when saving.

Use the Table of Contents to move quickly between sections πŸ“‘

What is not imported β›”

The following sections are not included in the import and must be added manually:
Employees, References, Commitment, and Publications.

Important to know πŸ””

Updating content in one language does not update other languages. Each language version must be edited individually.

Always review imported and AI-generated content before sharing a CV.

Quick tips πŸ’‘

Use a simple CV layout to avoid import issues.
Always review the imported content.
Create separate CVs for different customers instead of editing the same CV repeatedly.
