The employee profile page in Cinode is structured into several blocks, each controlling different parts of the profile experience. By configuring these blocks, you decide what information is visible internally in your Cinode, how it is presented, and how profile completeness is measured.

This helps ensure profiles are consistent, relevant, and focused on the information that matters most in your organisation.

To configure profile settings, you need access to Administration.

Overview of profile configuration tabs

All profile-related settings are managed from:

Administration > Process > Profile

Below is an overview of the different tabs you see in this view and what each one controls.

Profile Score

Defines how profile completeness is calculated.

Here you can:

  • Enable or disable profile rating.

  • Set targets for different profile sections (for example, number of competencies or minimum text length).

  • Decide which section contributes to the total profile score.

This helps employees understand what is required to achieve a complete profile.

Blocks

Controls which profile blocks are visible on the employee profile page.

Here you can:

  • Choose which blocks should be shown or hidden.

  • Configure settings per profile language.

  • Customise block headings (professional presentation).

  • Customise descriptions shown below each heading.

Use this tab to guide employees and highlight which information is most important.

Competence levels

Defines the available competence levels used across the profile.

Here you can:

  • Configure level names and descriptions.

  • Ensure a consistent understanding of skill proficiency across the organisation.

These levels are used in skills, competencies, and matching logic.

Best practices

  • Start with Profile > Blocks to define what information is visible.

  • Use Rating to clearly communicate expectations to employees.

  • Keep headings professional and descriptions short and instructive.

  • Review settings per language to ensure global consistency.

  • Hide unused sections to reduce noise and improve profile clarity.

By configuring each tab deliberately, you ensure employee profiles are clear, relevant, and aligned with how Cinode is used in your organisation.
