To customise your resume template you will need the role/permission level Admin. Read more about permission level in Cinode.
You can create and customize your resume templates by adding colours, block headings, and doing advanced styling of your template using CSS. You can also add your logotype to your template. The logotype can vary between templates. Cinode also supports One-Pager templates, which offer streamlined and customizable formats ideal for creating concise and focused CVs. Additionally, these templates use topical blocks to help organize and display key skills and expertise efficiently. Cinode provides four example templates to help users get started with One-Pager CVs, ensuring a professional and polished appearance. For customization, Cinode offers both standard adjustments and extended modifications, with the latter being charged on an hourly basis based on the requested changes.
Administration > Company > CV Template, here you can find your CV templates. You can see how many CV's each CV template is used in, edit and copy a template. For advanced template customizations beyond standard capabilities, additional charges may apply. Contact Cinode support for more details and a cost estimate. For One-Pager CVs, extended or custom changes are available as a service charged on an hourly basis. Users can specify their requirements, and Cinode will provide a cost estimate accordingly.
Create and customize your resume template in Cinode
Go to Administration > Company in the menu and the tab resume templates.
Click the '+' sign to create a new standard template, or click the three dots to the far right of your template to change in existing resume
When clicking 'edit' you have the possibility to:
Change the title of the resume
Choose a template logotype
Rename the block headings
Change colors of block headings (Note that this is only available for our standard templates, not customised templates.)
Do advanced styling using CSS
Enable Show logotype on projects — this allows company logotypes to be displayed on projects in the CV. This setting is not enabled by default and must be activated on the template level.
Do not forget to click Save when done editing.
Delete a CV template
To remove a CV template so it can no longer be used when creating new CVs:
Go to Administration > Company > CV Templates.
Find the template you want to delete.
Click the three dots (...) to the far right of the template.
Select Delete and confirm.
Note: You will need the Admin role to delete CV templates. Deleting a template does not affect CVs that were already created using it.
Show logotype on projects
When the Show logotype on projects setting is enabled on a CV template, users can select a logotype for each project in their CV. The logotype will then be displayed next to the project in the exported CV.
To add a logotype to a project in your CV:
Open your CV and navigate to the relevant project.
Click to edit the project.
Select a logotype from the available options.
Note: Logotypes must first be uploaded by an admin under Administration > Company > Logotypes before they can be selected on projects.
Managing Topical Blocks and Skills
The One-Pager CV allows you to organize and present your skills effectively using topical blocks:
Categories: You can choose from predefined categories or create custom ones to organize your skills.
Skill Selection: Once a category is selected, you can add relevant skills from your profile to that block, ensuring that your CV highlights the most pertinent information. By leveraging these features, you can create a One-Pager CV that is both visually appealing and tailored to your professional needs.
Anonymous CV template
Cinode offers an anonymous CV template where consultant names and profile pictures are hidden by default - both visually and structurally. This is useful when you want to present candidates to clients without revealing their identity, for example early in a recruitment or staffing process.
Note: Hiding name and photo using CSS only removes them visually. The information is still present in the underlying HTML and can be seen by anyone with access to the browser's developer tools. If you share the CV online and full anonymity is required, we recommend using our dedicated anonymous CV template instead.
