How to create a project and a role in Cinode.

Note! You need to have a permission-level 'manager' to get access to projects. Check this article to get help setting the permission.

Creating a new project is a simple process, and once your project is set up, you'll be able to:

  1. Enhance it with additional details such as Roles, Events, People, Files and links, or Additional Information.

  2. Modify its status as needed.

  3. Include events by following these steps:

    • Click on "New Event."

    • Choose from options like Meeting, Note, or Task.


How to create a new project

  1. You can create a project from:

    • Projects and List In the sidebar click the "+" symbol to create a new project.

    • Click "+" when working in the pipe directly.

    • Use the shortcuts up in the right corner.

2. Fill in your details and click 'Save'. If you want to create a role immediately check in 'create a role'

  • Titel

  • Customer

  • Intermediary (if any)

  • Description

  • Status

  • Pipeline

  • Stage

  • Probability

  • Owner team

  • Office location

  • Priority

  • Estimated close date

  • Estimated deal value

  • Currency

  • Projuct ID (internal)

  • Project ID (customer)


How to create a role in a project

After creating a project you can create a new role or click the + button to add more roles to a project.

1. Go to projects > List/Pipe in the menu
or
The "drawer" from the Planner view, skill search or skills report.

2. Select the project that you would like to add the role to and click to see the overview.

3. Click the tab 'roles' in the overview and the '+' sign next to 'roles'.

4. Add information in the following fields

  • Title of the role - mandatory

  • Description of the role

  • Start and end date (mandatory to calculate utilization and calculated order value)

  • Extension option date (just for information in Utilization views)

  • Verbal agreement date (just for information in Utilization views)

  • Rate - hourly or fixed (optional, but important for calculated order value and revenue forecast)

  • Extent - percent or hours (an important parameter for the calculated utilization rate of the consultant booked to the role)

If you are going to announce this role you can skip the field book a person and now click save to continue to step 2 in the article "Announce roles to your partners and the Partner Network"

5. Add an employee directly or match a relevant person through our matching function. If you know the name of the person who wants to assign the role type the name of the person

You can preliminarily assign an employee or a sub-contractor to the role or book definitively. If you choose Preliminary bookings you are also able to choose a status for the booking by clicking on the arrow

When creating a project, you can easily add a new customer

  1. Type the name of this customer in the 'Customer' box and then click the '+' button.

    2. Typing the name and description of the new customer and click 'Save'


How to add skills required for a role

If you add skills requirements when creating a role you can match a consultant to the role or be searchable when announcing a role.

Add skills requirements with skill sets or write manually.


Use the quick booking in the drawer


To access a consultant's information in Planner, Skills Search, or Skills Report, simply click on the consultant's name. The information will appear on the right side of the screen. Here, you can view details from the consultant's profile, book a consultant, or create a new role instantly.

+ click on add a new role

Then you can fill in the information about the role and choose to book definitive or preliminary.
