Note! You need to have permission level PartnerManager to get access to the Partner function and Partner account in Cinode. Check this article to get help setting the permission.
Overview
Cinode is designed to facilitate sourcing, both internally and externally. If you need to connect with your partners or subcontractors, you can send individual role requests to specific partners or subcontractors within your network. This approach expands your reach, and there is no limit to the number of partners you can engage with.
In order to announce roles to a partner you will first need to invite companies in the partner network and become their partner.
How to announce roles
Announcing roles will trigger an e-mail to the selected parties. The e-mail will contain general information and a link so that the recipient can log in to their Cinode account to respond to your request.
Follow the steps to announce roles to your Partners or the Partner network
Create a Project and a Role
Begin by creating the project and defining the role you wish to announce.Navigate to Your Project
Go to Project β List/Pipe/Delivery.
Search for your project, open it, and click the Roles tab.
π‘ Note: Before announcing a role, ensure all relevant project information is updated, as this will appear in the role announcement.
Examples of key information to review:
Location of the project: Click the three dots in the top-right corner of the project, select Edit, and add the location.
Attachments: To include relevant files in the role announcement, go to the Attachments tab in the project and upload them.
3. Open the Role You Want to Announce
Click the role (highlighted with a red banner) to open it.
4. Add Role Requirements
Specify the requirements for the role by adding skills, setting levels, and indicating whether each skill is optional or mandatory.

5. Announce the Role
Once all details are complete, click "Announce" to proceed.
6. Type or correct the information fot the announcement
What to edit in a role:
Title: Title of the role as it will be presented to your network
Description: You can choose a different description of the role for your recipients, other than the one description of the current role that has been saved in your Cinode account.
Deadline: Set a date for when the recipients need to reply at the latest.
Hourly rate: Set the rate which you offer to the recipients. Usually, this is higher than the rate that has been set in the role so that you can make a profit.
Currency: Set the currency. New currencies can be added in the Administration interface in the sidebar.
Contact: Choose which person from your company that should be displayed as the contact person for your network should they have any questions regarding this particular role.
Create a public page outside Cinode: If you wish to announce to the whole Partner Network( All companies registered in the Partner Network) you can choose to create a public page outside Cinode to share it in social media.
Attachments: If you have uploaded attachments to the project, they can also be attached to this announcement. Check the box "Attachments"
Possibility to work remote: If the consultant can work for this role remotely, hybrid or onsite. If hybrid ad the percentage.
7. Choose the target audience of the announcement.

βPartner - your invited partners with a Cinode account
Subcontractors - created accounts in your organization
Cinode Partner Network - Announce broad to all companies visible in the Cinode Partner Network.
8. If you select Partners you can select groups (if any are created) or recipients.
Example on selecting partners or groups.
You can now click on subcontractors to also select which of your subcontractors you wish to announce to, the same way as shown for partners.
8. Once you have selected all recipients, click "Preview" to continue.
9. In the preview you can see a summary of the role that you are about to announce. Click "Send" to notify your network. They will receive an e-mail notification and also see the role in-app. That's it! π€
Responses of announced roles
As soon as your partner has responded to your announced role request you will receive an e-mail. You will now see your announced roles if you go to Network > Request > Sent.
Click on the role to see the answers and read about the consultant under "Responses" to decide if this consultant matches your role description for the assignment. Click "Book" to assign the consultant for the assignment.
You will now select if you wish to assign the consultant preliminary or definite. Click "Book".
When the consultant is booked you will see that the status has changed under "Responses" from "Open" to "Assigned".

Make sure to add your partner companies and subcontractors BEFORE you announce the role. This is done under Partner in the sidebar β
In the Project: Set an office location - this will let your recipients know where they are going to be stationed for this assignment β
Attachments can be uploaded to the Project and send along the role announcement β
In the Role: Set both a start and an end date for the role β
In the Role: Make sure to add some relevant skills. This will make it easier for your recipient to assess if they are able to muster the role β
Keep in mind that the hourly rate that is announced to the network may differ from what you wish to charge your customer β
