Cinode’s search function lets you quickly locate relevant information. You can search across All, Skills, or Tags and then narrow results using filters such as categories, resources, teams, or groups.

All Search

Use All when you want to search across every profile block in your company. This gives a complete view of employees’ information.

Example: To see which employees have worked at Nordea, type Nordea. The results will show individuals with previous assignments there. Select a person to view their overview and contact information.

Search Operators

You can refine your results with the following options:

  • Default behaviour: By default, your search term is treated as “begins with.” For example, searching for Sam will return people named Sam or Samantha, as well as skills such as Samsung TVs or Audio Sampling.

  • Exact matches: Use double quotes to find an exact match. Searching for "Sam" will only return results with the exact word Sam.

  • Wildcards: Use an asterisk (*) for fuzzy searches. For example, searching for *th will return names like Smith or Booth.

  • Question marks: Use a question mark (?) to replace a single character. For example, searching for Linds?y will return both Lindsay and Lindsey.

Skill Search

Skill Search helps you find people with specific skills across your company. Filters let you refine your search by team, resource, or category.

Think in skill categories when searching:

  • Role in a project

  • Technologies, tools, or platforms

  • Industry experience

Learn more about Skill Categories.

Steps to search for skills:

  1. Apply filters (e.g. select the Project Managers team).

  2. Enter relevant skills such as Java or Scrum and press Enter.

  3. Click on a skill to refine your results.

You can filter further by:

  • Skill level

  • Years of experience

  • Usage in assignments

  • Favourite skill ⭐️

  • Growth plan 🌱

Tag Search

Use Tag Search to find items by tags, such as customers or industries.

  1. Filter by type (e.g. Customer).

  2. Enter a tag like Banking and Finance and press Enter.

  3. Select a customer to view their detailed page.
