You can easily translate your resume to another language using the compare-view when editing a CV or our AI translate feature.

You will need to manually translate every block in your resume. The translation is only needed to be added once since after you translate a CV you will also have a profile in both languages.

We recommend to start by translating your profile to another language before creating your CV in the other language.

Note: Once you select a different language, your profile will not be automatically translated. You will need to translate each section manually or use our AI tool to assist you.

Translate your Profile

  1. Start by clicking the pluss button next to translations in your profile.

  2. Choose the language you would like to translate to.

Now it is time to translate your profile, section by section. You can do it manually or with our AI function, please view our videos below.

  3. Start translating by clicking the pen next to you presentation. Translate manually or click the AI translate button. Se image below.

  4. Proceed to the next section to begin your translation. Make sure to translate all sections in the profile

If your desired CV template is not available in the required language, you must create it under Administration settings before translating your profile or CV to that language.

Translate using AI

Note! For access to the AI feature, your company’s system owner needs to opt-in by emailing support@cinode.com.

To translate your CV or profile, click "translate." The translation will match the language of your CV template. For a Swedish CV from an English one, first create a Swedish CV template, then translate each section individually.

Check the text first and then click on "use text" to insert the translated text.

Compare View to Translate a CV

Using the compare view you will be able to compare your CV to profile data. This is useful when you easily want to copy data from the profile to the CV. To translate the first time you can copy the data or just compare it while writing the translated text.

Troubleshooting

If you're experiencing issues translating your profile, it may be because you've attempted to translate from and to the same language. This can happen if you're unsure which language is currently active when editing your profile.

To resolve this, double-check the selected source language and ensure it is different from the target language you're translating into.
