As a subcontractor, you may receive role requests for assignments from external companies that have added you to their network. These requests allow you to review assignment details and confirm your interest.

How to respond to a role request

  1. Open the request

    • Go to Assignments > Received in the sidebar, or open it directly from the email notification.

  2. Review the details

    • Check the role description, required skills, attachments, and other details to see if the assignment matches your profile.

  3. Respond to the request

    • If you are interested, click Yes, I’m Interested.

    • Before sending, you can propose a different hourly rate and add a message.

    • Click Send to submit your response.

  4. Await confirmation

    • Your response is sent to the company, which will review it.

    • If they decide to book you, you will receive an email confirmation, for example: “You have been assigned to the role: [role name]”.

  5. Confirm your booking

    • Open the assignment in Assignments > Received in the sidebar.

    • You will see the status: “You have been booked on this assignment”.

Troubleshooting: 403 Error When Opening Links

If you receive a 403 error when clicking the link in your email, you are most likely logged in to the wrong organisation.

  • This can happen if you have accounts in multiple organisations.

  • To fix this, log out of Cinode, then click the email link again.
