Certifications management where it's possible to structure certifications is an add-on in Cinode. The certifications report is included in Cinode Skills.

Why use Certification Management?

Certification management ensures consistency and standardization across your organization in Cinode. It simplifies the maintenance and presentation of certifications, supporting business growth. By managing certifications effectively, your company stays competitive, compliant, and aligned with industry standards.

How Cinode Simplifies Certification Management:

Certification Library

Only users with Admin permissions can manage the Certifications library in your company's instance.

  1. Administration > Process > Certifications

  2. Add a new certification by press +

    or update by clicking on the three dots

Company Catalog

Under the Company Catalog tab, you can view and manage your company's certifications. You can also see:

  • Total number of users in the organization with the certification

  • Target number of users requiring the certification

  • Target date to achieve the desired number of certified users


User Certifications

Under the User Certifications tab, you can view and manage your company's certifications. You can also see:


Add a Certification to Your Profile

  1. Navigate to Home > Profile or directly access a CV.

  2. Use the table of contents to find Courses & Certifications.

  3. Click + to add a new certification.

  4. Select from the list, which is generated based on the company catalog.

☝️ Only certifications from this list can be added to a profile.


Certification Report

Viewing and Managing Certifications in Reports

The Reports section provides an overview of all certifications added to employee profiles in your organization. You can see:

  • All certifications and their associated employees.

  • The year certifications were obtained.

  • Options to export the report.

Clicking on a certification reveals additional details, such as expiration date, issuer, and code.

Navigating to Reports

  1. Go to Reports > Competences > Certifications tab.

Using the Filter Function

  • Search by Certificate: Identify employees with a specific certification.

  • Search by Employee: View all certifications an employee holds.

  • Filter by Teams: See certifications within a specific team.

  • Search by Year: Find certificates by the year obtained or check expiration status.

  • Export: Download the report as an Excel file.

  • Employee Profile: Click an employee's name to access their profile.

By filtering by a specific period, you can view certifications expiring within that timeframe. For example, the table below shows that within one year:

  • 3 users hold the Scrum Master Certificate.

  • 1 certificate is active.

  • 1 certificate will expire during the year.

  • 1 certificate has already expired.
