Need Help Getting Started?
If you would like guidance in using Cinode:
Add more users to your plan
If your Cinode account has reached the user limit for its current tier, you can add more users directly from within Cinode without contacting support - provided your subscription is paid by credit card through Stripe.
Go to Plans & Add-ons.
Open the Subscriptions tab.
Under Your subscriptions, find the card for your active plan. If you have reached your current tier's user limit, the card shows the message: "You have reached the limit of your current tier. Upgrade now to allow for more users."
Click See the new price to view the price of the next tier. Confirming moves your account up to that tier, which increases the number of users you can add.
This self-service upgrade path is only available if your subscription is paid by credit card through Stripe. If your Cinode account is on an invoiced contract instead, contact your Cinode contact or our sales team to add more users.
Downgrade your plan or unsubscribe?
We use Stripe for our subscription payments, and you can choose to pay either monthly or yearly.
If you have a yearly subscription, downgrading is not possible until the end of the paid year. This means that once you’ve paid for a year, your current plan will remain active until the end of that period. Changes can be made for the next billing cycle at renewal.
For monthly plans, a one-month notice is required to downgrade. This means that if you request a downgrade, your current plan will remain active for one more month before the change takes effect.
How to cancel your subscription
Subscriptions are managed through Stripe, Cinode's payment provider. To cancel, you need to access the Stripe billing portal directly.
Go to Plans & Add-ons in Cinode.
Open the Subscriptions tab.
Click Manage subscription or the link to the Stripe billing portal.
In the Stripe portal, select Cancel plan and follow the prompts to confirm.
Cancellation timing depends on your plan type: yearly subscriptions remain active until the end of the paid period; monthly subscriptions require one month's notice and remain active for the current billing month after cancellation is confirmed.
After cancellation, your data remains accessible until the end of your paid period. If you have questions about what happens to your data after the subscription ends, or need help with a cancellation that cannot be completed through the self-service portal (for example, if your subscription is invoiced rather than credit card billed), contact the Cinode support team or your account manager.
