Included Parameters Projects with status Open or Won are included if roles meet the following criteria:

  • Defined Start and End dates

  • Defined Price (hourly or fixed)

  • Defined Extent (hourly or fixed)

For preliminary or non-booked roles, the probability is factored into revenue calculations.

Planned absences and bank holidays reduce the calculated revenue accordingly.

Revenue Calculation Method

Revenue is calculated based on the role's parameters, using your organisation's calendar settings to determine working days and hours.

Examples:

  1. Hourly Rate + Percentage Extent

    • Start: 01.02.2020 / End: 29.02.2020

    • Working Days: 20 / Hours per Day: 8

    • Price: €100/hour / Extent: 50%

    • Calculation: (20 × 8 × 100) × 0.5 = €8,000

  2. Fixed Hours

    • Same period

    • Price: €100/hour / Extent: 100 hours

    • Calculation: 100 × 100 = €10,000

  3. Fixed Price Over 2 Months

    • Start: 01.02.2020 / End: 31.03.2020

    • Total Working Days: 42

    • Price: €20,000 / Extent: 200 hours

    • Daily Revenue: 20,000 / 42 = €476.19

    • February: 476.19 × 20 = €9,523.80

    • March: 476.19 × 22 = €10,476.20

  4. Preliminary Role with Probability

    • Same as Example 1, with 70% probability

    • Calculation: 8,000 × 0.7 = €5,600

Revenue is adjusted for any bank holidays or planned absences by subtracting the corresponding daily value per affected day.
